Goat Farm cheese is a semi-hard cheese, characterised by the excellent flavour of goat milk. This is due to its ripening period, which lasts from 4 to 5 weeks.
Cheese has a firm texture and simply crumbles in the mouth when eaten. It is milk white. Goat cheese is an excellent source of protein and calcium. A perfect addition to dishes, e.g. casserole topping, but also as a grated addition to meat recipes. This product is PGI (Protected Geographical Indication) certified.
Like other dairy products, goat’s cheese is rich in nutritious protein and can be a distinctive tasting addition to a complete diet. Compared to cow’s milk, goat’s milk is much better tolerated by the human digestive system. This is due to its lower casein and lactose content.
